Since September 3, 2009, Woodgrove Centre, Vancouver Island’s largest shopping centre, has been donating $2 to KidSport Nanaimo for every Nanaimo Clippers ticket sold.
All funds raised by the chapter will stay within the Nanaimo community and will provide registration grants for local children ages 6-18 to ensure they have the opportunity to participate in a sport season of their choice.
This is just one example of how community chapters all across the Province are partnering with various organizations in their communities to help kids get in the game.
